Practice

Three things, and we do not do a fourth.

Establishing the record

For people whose work is substantial and undocumented. We identify where their expertise is genuinely relevant to a live conversation, prepare them to be a useful source, and place them in front of the editors and journalists covering that conversation.

This is slow. It depends on the person actually having something to say that is not already being said.

Correcting the record

For people whose public description is wrong, incomplete, or shaped by someone else's interest. We map what exists, identify what is factually contestable and what is merely unflattering, and work on the first.

We do not remove accurate information. We are frequently asked to, and we decline.

Preparing for scrutiny

For people about to become visible. Interview preparation, including the hostile questions. What holds under fifteen minutes of research by a sceptical journalist, and what does not.

Most of this work consists of talking a client out of claims they cannot support.
